Job summary

BASIS ED is seeking an Art Teacher for the Phoenix Metro Area to deliver high-quality art instruction aligned with the BASIS Curriculum. You will prepare and facilitate subject-specific lesson plans and tailor topics to engage students with passion for art.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in subject matter or related credits, plus IVP fingerprint clearance and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Collaboration with peer teachers is encouraged to enhance curriculum and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 24 credit hours in subject area with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction above grade level in an interactive learning enviroment.
• Design lessons and assessments to keep education internationally competitive.
• Collaborate with BASIS teachers to develop curriculum and share best practices.
• Tutor students in content knowledge to boost academic and career success.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement, responsibility, and respect.
• Support non instructional functions like Early Bird/Late Bird and lunch.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups.
