Job Summary

Responsible for teaching elementary students the fundamentals of art through engaging, age-appropriate lessons and creative hands‑on activities. Plans and delivers art instruction that encourages creativity, self‑expression, and exploration of different artistic techniques and mediums. Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment, manages student behavior, provides guidance and feedback, and assesses student progress. This position is an .8 FTE Roving Elementary Art Teacher to spend at Birch Grove Primary, Birch Grove Intermediate, Coyote Hills Elementary, Kennedy Elementary, and Schilling Elementary.
