We believe that young boys enjoy many benefits from an elementary school designed just for them. It is a long-held belief at St. Bernard’s that it is important both to challenge boys and to show them great affection.

  • Evaluate students’ performance and growth in visual art, prepare grades, and write reports.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Organize the art room and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist with scenery production, set-up, and breakdown.
  • Plan and prepare displays of student artwork throughout the school.
  • Assist with the annual art show, prepare student artwork for display, install it, and de-install it.
  • Be willing and able to cover classes and other supervisory periods when needed
  • Participate in the life of the school community through activities such as supervising a student’s lunch table, attending school assemblies, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of School
