Job summary

Blick Art Materials in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Retail Store Sales Associate to support our team with outstanding customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and POS operations. You will help drive revenue while maintaining store standards and loss prevention policies.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at the Custom Services desk, scheduling appointments, processing custom orders, and delivering completed items in-store, while upholding Blick’s processes and training

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of traditional fine art mediums.

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and other skills training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Completes and utilizes the following programs: Blick Onboarding Training, Blick Sales Training, Preferred Customer Program, Special Orders, and Custom Services Training from NDS.
• Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk including making appointments for customers, consulting with customers on their Custom Services project, taking Custom Services orders, and delivering completed Custom Services orders in store.
• Displays an energetic and positive attitude with all customer interactions.
• Assist in the coordination of merchandise set-ups, has knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and has the ability to implement and maintain the store as set forth by store management.
• Follows directions and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines assigned with minimal supervision.
• Understands and acts on the procedures required for reporting low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as needed.
