Job summary

Blick Art Materials in the United States is seeking a Retail Store Sales Associate to join our in-store team. You will deliver outstanding customer service, apply product knowledge, and support sales initiatives and store operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, merchandising, pricing, POS operations, loss prevention, and flexibility to work day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays, with associates averaging 15–25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and other skills training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk including making appointments for customers, consulting with customers on their Custom Services project, taking Custom Services orders, and delivering completed Custom Services orders in store.
• Assist in the coordination of merchandise set-ups, with knowledge of visual standards and techniques, maintaining the store as set forth by management.
• Follows directions and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Understand and act on procedures for reporting low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management.
