Job summary

One River School of Art + Design seeks an Art School Director to lead operations and education across studio locations. You will drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and elevate student experiences while upholding brand standards and a high-performance culture.

You will recruit and develop instructors and staff, implement performance systems, and partner with community organizations to expand enrollment and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Fine Arts (BFA/MFA), or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing people, operations, and budgets in multi-unit, retail, educational, or hospitality environments.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and labor optimization skills.
• Exceptional track record of building, coaching, and holding teams accountable to performance metrics.
• A deep appreciation for visual arts education and creative culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school-level financial performance, including revenue plans, expenses, enrollment growth, and forecasting.
• Track and drive enrollment, retention, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Implement brand standards, workflow efficiencies, and accountability systems across school functions.
