The Department of Music and Fine Arts at the University of the Cumberlands invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Art position. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Studio Art required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Art and Art Education curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Music and Fine Arts across the university.
• Adapt and align course materials using syllabus templates and texts.
• Provide regular, timely feedback on student work.
• Maintain regular communication with students via virtual office hours and email.
• Maintain clear records in Blackboard Ultra and the university’s systems.
• Follow university policies and procedures.
• Advise and mentor students in academic and professional development.
• Contribute to curriculum design and departmental assessment.
• Serve department and university committees.
• Maintain active engagement in scholarship and service in the field.
