Responsibilities include planning art instruction, coordinating events, and maintaining studio organization. Hours typically 35–38 per week, with shifts 7:45am–3:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

  • MFA, BFA or BA in Art preferred, in that order.
  • Ability to guide individuals in professional arts vocational training.
  • Excellent teaching skills for 2D and 3D art production.
  • Ability to manage art materials and studio supplies.
  • Meet Direct Support Professional qualifications in DSP framework.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct art instructional plans toward career goals and PPML plans.
  • Plan and conduct community events to support clients' art goals.
  • Maintain studio organization, attendance, forms, supplies, and safety.
  • Supervise studio staff and volunteers and provide feedback.
  • Support clients in meetings and program planning activities.
