Job summary

UOVO is seeking an Art Handler/Driver to support day-to-day transportation and offsite activities from its Newark, Delaware warehouse. You will handle, pack, and transport artwork, install/de-install pieces and prepare shipping paperwork. Must be able to move substantial weight and operate with team members in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.

The role requires on-site, full-time commitment with possible night/weekend hours. CDL is a bonus; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience working with storage/collection management knowledge.
• Ability to move a wide range of art objects and pack securely for transport.
• Strong communication and attention to detail with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to troubleshoot onsite and elevate issues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle art objects using proper packaging, loading, and securing for transport.
• Install/de-install artworks at in-house or offsite locations; troubleshoot as needed.
• Prepare and file bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and condition reports with photos.
• Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities and pack for local, national, and international transport.
