Job summary

UOVO, the nation’s leading storage and services provider for art, archives, and collectibles, seeks an Art Handler/Driver to join its Miami team. On-site presence five days a week, with occasional nights and weekends, and duties spanning art handling, packing, and documentation.

The role requires art-handling experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift heavy loads. A valid driver’s license is essential; CDL is a bonus. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Team player in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Experience in installation, packing, and art handling.
• Excellent communication with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to problem-solve and escalate onsite issues.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL license a bonus.
• Ability to lift up to 150 pounds with a dolly or cart, and 50 pounds without aid.
• Ability to carry 40 pounds up to 90 feet.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach overhead.
• Work exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle and transport art objects with proper packaging and securing methods.
• Install and de-install artworks at in-house or off-site locations.
• Prepare paperwork: bills of lading, labels, driver logs, condition reports.
• Receive and release shipments in warehouse facilities.
• Pack artworks for local, national, and international transport.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and DOT regulations.
• Support internal teams as needed.
• Occasional night/weekend shifts; schedule flexibility.
• Complete other projects as assigned by the manager.
