Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Burlington, WA to build customer relationships and help customers shop for framing solutions. You will create custom framing options, complete orders on time, and maintain an inviting, well-stocked store environment.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, operating the cash register, and supporting omni-channel processes, with hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings. Prior retail experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating framing solutions and deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for and keep the store well merchandised.
• Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards.
