Job summary

Michaels Store in PHX-SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ is seeking a framing associate to help customers create memorable framing solutions, assist with framing orders, and maintain a welcoming, well-stocked store environment.

You will follow SOPs, operate the cash register, support omni-channel processes, and contribute to a safe, climate-controlled retail setting, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• basic computer skills
• basic measuring skills
• ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter
• retail experience
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOP’s and Company programs to ensure compliance to laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales and production results
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards
• Assist with Omni channel processes
• Participate in truck un-load and stocking processes to follow standards
