Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Northville, MI to build customer relationships and assist customers in selecting framing solutions. You will ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store and assist with framing orders, inventory, and Omni-channel processes.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, maintaining the framing department, and following SOPs while providing friendly service in a climate-controlled retail setting, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Minimum: basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred and selling products/services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and help customers shop the store.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and other areas.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Support Omni channel processes and store operations.
