Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and TEA guidelines
• Plan and use instructional strategies, materials, and technology for diverse learners
• Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust instruction based on results
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs
• Coordinate with staff to set goals, objectives, and methods
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers
• Be a positive role model and support school mission
• Lead extracurricular activities as assigned
• Establish professional relationships with parents, students, and colleagues
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Direct the work of assigned instructional aide(s)
