Job summary

Upstart is seeking an Art Director, Brand Social to lead platform-native art direction for organic social content and contribute to brand campaigns. You will collaborate with the Creative team to shape visual storytelling that resonates with diverse borrowers and partners.

The role requires 7+ years in art direction, strong design craft, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Remote, with occasional onsite collaboration in major U.S. cities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in art direction, design, or a related creative discipline.
• Experience creating organic social content, including trend-responsive and always-on creative.
• On-set production experience across photo or video.

Responsibilities

• Lead art direction for organic social content, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency.
• Partner with Social leadership to concept and execute work from concept to final execution.
• Direct on commercial and campaign sets, supporting senior creative leadership.
