Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial art direction or related field.
• Strong portfolio of illustration across styles.
• Excellent visual storytelling and taste.
• Champion diverse artistic voices through commissioning.
• Translate audience tastes into resonant visuals.
• Clear communication with feedback and detail.
• Collaborate in fast-paced team settings.
• Proficient in Photoshop; familiarity with Illustrator, InDesign, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Commission Artwork and manage a global network of freelance artists.
• Lead Visual Development for Booster Fun, Universes Beyond, and Secret Lair.
• Drive Collectibility with alternate card treatments.
• Contribute bold visual ideas in early concept development.
• Ensure quality by reviewing final artwork to Magic standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, editors, IP holders.
• Translate IPs into collectible formats.
