Job summary

Spin Master Ltd is hiring an Art Director to join the Global Content Team in Los Angeles, CA on a hybrid schedule. In this contract role, you will help drive visual storytelling across multiple brands and channels, partnering with a Copywriter and Creative Director to shape concepts, elevate quality, and keep work aligned with brand tone and strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or toy/children's entertainment
• Ability to write and produce high volumes of content while maintaining high accuracy
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
• Strong written and oral communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Tell visual stories with imagery that is fun and functional
• Create imagery and provide art direction for Global Marketing Campaigns, TVCs, videos, digital content, photography, and social content
• Collaborate with a Copywriter to develop visual concepts and styles for presentations and to art direct videos and photography
• Partner with a Creative Director on campaign ideation, development and execution
• Develop consumer-facing visuals that are fresh, engaging, and original across channels
• Create visuals that match Spin Master brands' tone and strategy
• Work with cross-functional partners and external vendors
• Act as a tastemaker and quality gatekeeper to ensure on-brand, on-tone work

Pay: USD 50 to 60 per hour

What you will do

• Tell visual stories with imagery that is as fun as it is functional.
• Create imagery and provide art direction for Global Marketing Campaigns, Television Commercials, Sizzles Sales Videos, Digital Content, Lifestyle Photography, E-Comm, Social Media and more.
• Collaborate with a Copywriter to develop visual concepts and styles for presentations, and to art direct videos and photography.
• Partner with a Creative Director on campaign ideation, development and execution.
• Develop consumer-facing visuals that are fresh, engaging, and original across multiple channels.
• Create visuals that match the tone and manner of Spin Master's brands and stay grounded in strategy.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners and external vendors.
• Act as a tastemaker and quality gatekeeper, ensuring work is on brand, on tone and on strategy.

What you bring

• Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented approach.
• Stay current with trends in design, social media, and pop culture.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to work with a variety of stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience at an advertising agency, in-house marketing department, or a toy and children's entertainment company.

Anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California: $50 to $60 Per Hour. The offered pay for a successful candidate will depend on factors that may include years of experience in the role, years of experience within the required industry, education, and more.
