Job summary

TURN Community Services in Utah County seeks a full-time Day Program Art Center Direct Support Professional to help adults with developmental disabilities engage in diverse art activities and daily living skills. The role supports clients in creative expression and community participation.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Experience in any field of art.
• A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to drive large vehicle to transport individuals for community engagement and to/from home.

Responsibilities

• Support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives through art forms such as dance, music, painting and theatre.
• Assist with behavior management and daily living activities while modeling appropriate social skills.
• Provide documentation of activities and promptly report health or safety concerns.
• Support clients with day-to-day schedules and help them participate in community activities.
