Job description

Do you have experience in cheering and have a desire and love to work with children between the ages of 5-12 years old? Do you enjoy leading creative and artistic activities for youth? If so, please consider applying to be an Art Counselor and join the Camp Lowe team!

We are looking for fun, creative, and engaging individuals to join our camp family for the Summer of 2025. Under the supervision of the Camp Director, the Art Camp Counselors is responsible for supervising and leading a group of 10-20 campers through a variety of creative and artistic YMCA programming.

Location: Camp Lowe, 132 Fort Pond Inn Road, Lancaster MA

Shift: Mondays-Fridays from 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Type: Summer Seasonal/Temporary, June 30th, 2025 to August 29th, 2025

Training: Association Wide All Staff Camp Training Day on Saturday, June 7th (Location-TBD). Pre-Camp training is required--dates TBD.

Pay: $18.00 per hour for new hires and $18.50 for returning Art Counselors. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA employees and Employee Assistance Program.
