Required qualifications include an MFA in studio art, or an MA in Art History or a master’s with 18 grad credits in Art, with college teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • M.F.A. in any studio art discipline, M.A. in Art History or Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in Art
  • College level teaching experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of multiple instructional delivery modes and ability to communicate effectively; proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Art instruction via on-ground, online and hybrid modalities.
  • Collaborate with course leads and program coordinators for consistent student experiences.
  • Utilize the learning management system to provide course materials to students.
  • Submit updated department syllabus before the class start date.
  • Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
  • Submit final grades by the Registrar deadline and complete required reports and surveys.
  • Comply with College and TBR policies and guidelines
