Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in related qualifying fields.
• Three years teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes recommended – hybrid, online, interactive, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned according to course descriptions and syllabi.
• Begin and end classes as scheduled and cover learning outcomes for each course.
• Maintain academic standards and classroom environment; communicate with students weekly and respond to emails promptly.
• Evaluate students using various methods and report scores promptly.
• Use Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and respond to student questions via email.
• Meet deadlines for administrative requests, contracts, reports and final grades.
• Submit requests through department chair or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids.
