Job summary

Cleveland State Community College is inviting applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in Graphic Design. Instructors provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment across on-ground and online formats.

Applicants should indicate availability for on-ground, online, or both teaching formats. A Master’s degree in Art or Graphic Design is preferred; a Bachelor’s with three years of experience also qualifies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related field preferred;3 years of professional experience acceptable with a Bachelor's.
• Three years teaching experience preferred; experience with hybrid/online delivery routes recommended.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned and per course outlines.
• Begin and end classes as scheduled and cover learning outcomes.
• Maintain standards and communicate with students weekly.
• Evaluate students and provide timely feedback on assessments.
• Use Cleveland State email for admin tasks and respond promptly.
• Meet deadlines for contracts, activity reports and final grades.
• Submit requests for equipment, supplies and textbooks through the department chair.
