Job summary

Physicians Care in South Pittsburg, TN seeks experienced radiology technologists to perform X-ray imaging and related duties. The role includes preparing examinations, operating diagnostic equipment, and assisting healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging.

The ideal candidate will hold an AR State X-Ray License, BLS certification, and prefer ARRT certification; Medical Assistant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Active AR state X-ray license required.
• ARRT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival in the waiting area, exam room, or radiology room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to the next step in treatment.
• Assist with radiology procedures under supervision of the provider.
• Prepare patients and equipment for radiologic procedures and ensure safety.
• Document patient information and vital signs accurately during visits.
• Maintain radiology equipment and report malfunctions to the Manager or provider on duty.
