Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per hospital protocols and maintain image quality and safety. You will collaborate with patients and the health care team to ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation using VH HIS and PACS.

One year of radiology experience is preferred. ARRT certification and BLS are required, and applicants must be proficient in English.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required; BLS is required.
• English language proficiency is required for reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations per Vail Health protocols.
• Maintains communication with patients, families, physicians, and health care team for continuity of care.
• Adheres to department policies, confidentiality, quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Verifies patient identity and exam order against clinical data and demographics.
• Utilizes VH HIS and PACS systems for accurate documentation.
• Models Just Culture and organizational values; performs other duties as assigned.
