Job summary

Vail Health in Colorado is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with attention to image quality and patient safety. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the health care team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to safety protocols.

Required: ARRT and BLS certifications, and willingness to maintain high standards for radiation protection. One year of radiology experience is preferred. The hourly pay range is $34.05–$47.00.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Adheres to department policies, safety, confidentiality, quality assurance, and infection control standards.
• Verifies patient identity and exam order for consistency with clinical diagnosis.
• Maintains knowledge of VH HIS and PACS systems for accurate patient documentation.
