Job Overview

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech professionals to join our team in Donelson, TN. Both full-time and PRN opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and professionally.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Address patient concerns and recognize emergent situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results promptly.
• Assist with patient check-in/out and documentation.
• Obtain and record vital signs and medical history accurately.
• Assist with transfers, procedures, and lab work under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Maintain equipment and supply stock, adhering to safety and infection control policies.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for X-Ray procedures.
• BLS Certification.
