Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech professionals to join our healthcare team in Donelson, TN. Both FT and PRN opportunities are available.

Position Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate patient files, and support both patients and medical staff during procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting and exam areas.
• Communicate wait times and treatment steps effectively.
• Provide solutions to patient issues and recognize emergent situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results promptly.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for X-Rays.
• BLS Certification.
