About Us :

Baptist Health Urgent Care is on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our dynamic healthcare team in Conway, AR . With 23 locations across Arkansas, we are proud to be an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our centers provide quality and affordable family healthcare at over 80 locations under eight trusted brands.

Our convenient, walk-in centers offer a wide range of healthcare services, including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week, ensuring our community has access to care when they need it most :

• Monday - Friday : 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday : 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday : 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please note, our Conway - Oak Street location has weekend hours from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. All our centers are Accredited Care Centers, a designation from the Urgent Care Association that recognizes our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.

Job Summary

As an X-Ray Tech, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing x-ray testing, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop films, and prepare the room with necessary supplies. This position also includes Medical Assistant duties. Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties reflect the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

• Warmly greet patients in waiting areas, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Address patient concerns and seek assistance in emergencies.
• Conduct follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk staff with patient check-in / out procedures as needed.
• Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Perform timely radiology procedures for physician evaluation and treatment.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed for optimal exam performance.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, adhering to safety and care protocols.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions promptly.
• Commit to ongoing education to enhance diagnostic imaging skills.
• Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment.

What’s Required?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
