Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to join our healthcare team in Maumelle, AR.

With 23 locations across Arkansas, Baptist Health Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. The Urgent Team family provides quality, affordable healthcare at over 80 locations under eight brands.

Our walk-in centers offer a range of services including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. They are open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. All centers are accredited Care Centers by the Urgent Care Association, reflecting our commitment to safety and quality.

Job Summary:

This role involves performing X-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Responsibilities include operating diagnostic equipment, developing films, preparing exam rooms, and performing Medical Assistant duties. Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN team members are scheduled as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times effectively.
• Provide solutions to patient issues and recognize emergent or hazardous situations, seeking help as needed.
• Follow up with patients promptly.
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures when necessary.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and other pertinent information.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Complete accurate documentation related to patient visits.
• Perform radiology procedures timely for evaluation and treatment.
• Ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions.
• Maintain and improve radiology knowledge and skills through ongoing education.
• Maintain current licensure and certification for radiology equipment and personnel.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
