Job Title: CT Technologist (ARRT Certified)
Location: Community-Based Hospital – Oregon
Department: Radiology / Imaging
Reports To: Imaging Director / Radiology Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ARRT Certified CT Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team at a community-focused hospital in Oregon. This role is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders, safety protocols, and departmental procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, strong patient care, and a collaborative spirit aligned with our hospital’s mission to provide accessible and compassionate care to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures using advanced equipment to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation.

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process by following radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.

  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters based on clinical indications.

  • Review orders for accuracy, patient history, and contraindications; communicate effectively with ordering providers when necessary.

  • Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

  • Assist radiologists during procedures requiring contrast media and maintain thorough documentation of all exams.

  • Collaborate with other imaging staff, nurses, and departments to ensure seamless patient care and workflow.

  • Maintain professional certification and stay current with advances in CT technology and clinical best practices.

    TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS

    Must pull call on rotational basis for 24 hour coverage in CT. Medium to very heavy physical demand (lifting and moving patients 100 to 300 lbs) must be able to work independently as well as with patients, hospital staff, and physicians.

    Qualifications:

    • Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required

    • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) licensure (or eligibility) required

    • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required

    • 1+ year of CT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered

    • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
