Job summary

Holistic Wellness Center in Paarl, Western Cape, seeks an Aromatherapist & Essential Oil Specialist to design personalized essential oil blends and provide therapy consultations. The role blends scientific knowledge with intuitive application to support relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being.

You will educate clients, manage inventory, and stay abreast of research while collaborating with other practitioners to expand services at the center.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Aromatherapy from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in aromatherapy consultation and blend creation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of essential oil properties, contraindications, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with clients to assess needs and recommend essential oil blends and therapies.

About the Role

Our client, a holistic wellness center dedicated to natural healing and Beauty & Wellness, is seeking a qualified Aromatherapist & Essential Oil Specialist for their Paarl, Western Cape location. This role involves creating customized essential oil blends, providing aromatherapy consultations, and administering related therapeutic treatments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of botanical properties, therapeutic applications of essential oils, and a passion for promoting well-being through natural remedies. You will play a key role in designing personalized aromatherapy experiences for clients seeking relaxation, stress relief, and other health benefits. This position requires a blend of scientific knowledge and intuitive application, contributing to the center's commitment to natural health solutions in the heart of Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate essential oil blends and therapies.
• Create bespoke aromatherapy blends for various purposes, such as relaxation, stress reduction, pain relief, and mood enhancement.
• Administer aromatherapy treatments, including diffusion, inhalation, and topical application (massage blends).
• Educate clients on the safe and effective use of essential oils for personal well-being.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of essential oils, carrier oils, and related aromatherapy products.
• Ensure all aromatherapy supplies and equipment are stored correctly and hygienically.
• Stay current with research and advancements in aromatherapy and essential oil science.
• Collaborate with other practitioners at the wellness center to offer integrated client care.

Requirements
