Merrimack County Nursing Home is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assess and provide medical care to residents under the Medical Director. The role requires advanced practice nursing, an ARNP license in New Hampshire, and DEA registration. A drug screen and background check are required for conditional hires.

Assess, plan, and provides general medical care and treatment to the residents of the nursing home and Gerrish Manor Assisted Living under the direct supervision of the Medical Director.

Master’sdegree or its equivalent from a recognized college, institute, or university with major study in nursing, and graduation from a nurse practitioner program that meets qualifications established by the Board of Nursing Examiners for the specialty in which the Nurse Practitioner is to be employed. Three years professional advanced practical nursing experience post training with adult population or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing Education. Active DEA number required.
A drug screen & criminal background check will be required of all conditional hires.
