Job summary

SMX is hiring SAP Functional SMEs to serve as the domain authority for Army financial processes. You will guide the extraction of legacy business logic from GFEBS BW into configurable LCNC workflows, ensuring strict adherence to accounting validations, posting rules, and full audit logging.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP experience, BW/ECC familiarity, and deep knowledge of data structures, interfaces, and transactional processing.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher) required.
• 5+ years of SAP functional or technical experience with hands-on SAP BW/ECC.
• Deep expertise in SAP data structures, processes, interfaces, and transactional processing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SAP applications and document processes to define platform-independent requirements.
• Define configuration and validation rules for core capabilities (SoT, FB50 Reclassification, EFD, Spend Plans).
• Map legacy LOA and master data for DDRS and MILPERS.
• Support UAT, triage exceptions, and transition Level 1 support to sustainment.
