Job summary

SMX is seeking SAP Functional SMEs to act as domain authorities for Army financial processes. You will guide extraction of legacy logic into LCNC workflows, ensuring accurate posting rules, validations and full audit logging.

You’ll shape how the Army handles statements of transactions, funds distribution, payroll reclassifications and readiness reporting at scale. This role requires top-tier SAP BW/ECC expertise and will involve UAT support, exception handling, and transitioning Level 1 tasks

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher.
• 5+ years of SAP functional/technical experience with hands-on SAP BW and ECC.
• Deep expertise in SAP data structures, business processes, interfaces and transactional processing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing custom SAP applications and document processes to translate into platform-independent requirements.
• Define configuration and validation rules for capabilities including Statement of Transactions, FB50 Reclassification, EFD, and Spend Plans.
• Map legacy LOA and master data derivations for DDRS and MILPERS.
• Support UAT, triage exceptions, and transition Level 1 support to sustainment team.
