Job summary

SMX is seeking SAP Functional SMEs to serve as domain authority for Army financial processes. You will guide the extraction of legacy business logic from GFEBS BW into configurable LCNC workflows, ensuring strict adherence to accounting validations, posting rules, and full audit logging.

The role involves defining configurations for Statements of Transactions, FB50 Reclassification, EFD, and Spend Plans, and mapping LOA/master data for DDRS and MILPERS.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher)
• 5+ years of SAP functional or technical experience, with hands-on knowledge of SAP BW and SAP ECC
• Deep expertise in SAP data structures, business processes, interfaces, and transactional processing

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing custom SAP applications and document transactional processes to translate into platform-independent requirements.
• Define configuration and validation rules for key capabilities including Statement of Transactions, FB50 Reclassification, EFD, and Spend Plans.
• Map legacy LOA and master data derivations for systems like DDRS and MILPERS.
• Support UAT, triage exceptions, and transition Level 1 support to the sustainment team.
