As a Physician Assistant for the Army, you may perform a full spectrum of medical care within your clinical privileges and support stabilization and transport decisions.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university.
• Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
• Must be certified by the National Commission for Certified Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty; permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families.
• Perform a full spectrum of medical care within clinical privileges and advise on stabilization and transportation.
• Attend trainings, continuing education courses, seminars and conferences to broaden medical knowledge.
• Possibly serve Active Duty or Army Reserve as needed.
