Job summary

U.S. Army 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion seeks qualified Physician Assistants to provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families.

You may perform a full spectrum of medical care within clinical privileges, and you will have opportunities to attend trainings, continued education courses, seminars, and conferences to broaden your knowledge and advance in military medicine. Active Duty or Army Reserve options are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university.
• Must be certified by the National Commission for Certified Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
• Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty.
• Must have at least a permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families.
• Advise on medical needs for stabilization and transportation of patients.
• Pursue trainings, continued education courses, seminars and conferences to broaden knowledge and serve in medical specialty.
