Job summary

U.S. Army Physician Assistants serve as medical specialists across the full spectrum of Army medicine, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic care to Soldiers and families.

As a Physician Assistant, you may perform a full range of medical care within clinical privileges, advise on stabilization and transport, and pursue ongoing training and education. Active Duty or Army Reserve roles are available to serve the country and community.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies completed at an accredited university.
• Must hold or be eligible for NCCPA certification.
• Foreign graduates may apply if they hold a permanent certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families.
• Perform a wide range of medical care within clinical privileges.
• Advise on stabilization and transportation of patients as needed.
• Participate in trainings, continued education, seminars and conferences.
• May serve Active Duty or Army Reserve to support country and community.
