Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Warehouse Worker to support Fort Stewart, GA, handling receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of Army supplies. You will verify documents, maintain inventories, and operate forklifts and logistics systems according to safety rules.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, US citizenship, English fluency, and the ability to obtain a CAC within 90 days, plus a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• GCSS-A certification or knowledge required.
• High School Diploma or GED certificate.
• Valid US driver’s license and related Army/government licenses as required.
• US citizenship and English fluency required.
• Ability to obtain CAC within 90 days.
• Background security investigation and drug/alcohol screening required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, inventory, store, issue, deliver, and turn in supplies and equipment.
• Verify incoming items against documents and report discrepancies.
• Store, palletize, stage, and arrange materials per storage plans.
• Conduct inventories and report shortages or damage.
• Load/unload materials; operate forklifts and hand tools.
• Perform warehouse transactions using Army logistics systems.
• Maintain organized storage areas and proper documentation.
• Ensure PPE use and safety compliance; lift up to 70 pounds.
