Job summary

Akima Global Logistics in Anchorage, AK seeks a Supply Supervisor to oversee equipment receipt, inspection, accountability, and turn-in at a U.S. Army site.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with Army regulations, and maintain accurate government property records and reporting. The role requires 5+ years in supply/logistics with supervisory experience, familiarity with Army systems, and ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply/logistics experience, incl. 2+ years in supervision.
• Army or contractor experience in equipment turn-in or SSA ops preferred.
• Familiarity with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and contract compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily supply activities related to equipment receipt, inspection, accountability, and turn-in.
• Ensure compliance with Army regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR 750-1).
• Oversee inventories, accountability adjustments, and reconciliation of records.
• Coordinate with transportation staff for equipment movement.
• Direct, train, and evaluate supply personnel.
• Assign work, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
• Enforce safety standards and company/Army policies.
• Verify turn-in documentation (e.g., DA 1348-1A, DD 200, hand receipts).
• Enter data into GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP; maintain ISO 9001:2015 records.
• Support PARs and audits; investigate LDD incidents.
• Provide reports to Site Manager and COR; coordinate with PBOs/SSA.
• Assist in SOP development; identify process inefficiencies and corrective actions.
• Ensure training on procedures and system usage.
