Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Army Enterprise Security System (AESS) Administrator at Fort Stewart, GA. You will manage the DOIM for AESS endpoints, DLP, IDS, ePO server, and related databases to keep training environments secure.

The role requires 3+ years of IT security experience, DoD IAT-III baseline certifications, and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. You will implement STIGs, support CMRS reporting, and collaborate with government and contractor

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related IT security experience.
• Experience with endpoint protection, DLP, IDS, and ePO administration.
• Experience implementing STIGs, CMRS reporting, and ATO processes.

Responsibilities

• Manages the deployment, operation, installation, and maintenance (DOIM) of AESS endpoint protection components: DLP, PA, IDS and overall AESS server, database administration, and local ePO policy management and implementation.
• Prepare and produce AESS reporting requirements in CMRS compliance and contribute towards Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Supports implementation of DISA STIGs, IAVA monitoring and application, system vulnerability scanning/mitigation/remediation across the site’s IS infrastructure.
• Collaborating and coordinating with team members (contractor and government) to ensure ePO/AESS performance and implementation in support of site operations.
• Participates and contributes to monthly change control boards (CCB).
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required to support customer requirements.

Job Description: Army Enterprise Security System (AESS) Administrator XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO). MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• Manages the deployment, operation, installation, and maintenance (DOIM) of AESS endpoint protection components: data loss prevention (DLP), policy auditor (PA), intrusion detection system (IDS) and overall AESS server, database administration, and local ePO policy management and implementation
• Prepare and produce AESS reporting requirements in compliance with Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS) and contribute towards Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
• Supports implementation of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IAVA monitoring and application, system vulnerability scanning/mitigation/remediation of findings across the site’s IS infrastructure.
• Collaborating and coordinating with team members (contractor and government) to ensure ePO/AESS performance and implementation in support of site operations.
• Participates and contributes to monthly change control boards (CCB).
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required to support customer requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 3+ Years Required
• Technical Experience:
  • Virtualization experience: VMWare, Windows Hyper‑V, etc.
  • ePO and database administration Diagnostic abilities to solve network/system/server/client technical issues associated with maintaining management network and implementation of AESS solutions.
  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco computing environment: command line interface, PowerShell, scripting (script analysis and development).
  • McAfee/Trellix experience preferred.

DoD Certification and Training Requirements:

• Required: IAT-III baseline certification IAW former DoDD 8570.01: SecurityX (CASP+), CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
• Must complete ePO 201, 301, and 501 within 180 days of start

Other Information:

• Security Clearance: Secret to start; must be able to acquire and maintain Top-Secret
• Location: Fort Stewart, GA MTC.
• Normal work schedule is 0730-1600, may require night, swing, or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements.
• Travel: May require occasional travel (less than 10%).

The likely salary range for this position is $59,500 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
