Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks an ARMO Technician to maintain trucks, ships, and related equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards. You will support preventive maintenance, perform refurbishments, and keep accurate maintenance records as part of a hands-on field team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Technical Diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or related technical work.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, inspection techniques, and maintenance practices.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Welding, painting, and refurbishment experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, technical documents, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining assigned trucks, ships, and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications and maintenance requirements.
• Conducting routine welding, painting, and refurbishment activities to support equipment reliability and appearance.
• Performing mechanical inspections to identify equipment issues and maintenance needs.
• Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems.
• Supporting preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with company safety standards, policies, and operational procedures.
• Collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and maintenance activities.
• Supporting special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
