Qualifications

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized guests by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses at a government facility.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site personnel and responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain records of patrols and activities.
