Job summary

Loomis is hiring an Armed Vault Custodian to join a team responsible for maintaining inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. The role involves handling bags and currency, counting and recording items, and coordinating with teammates and customers to ensure secure, efficient operations.

Typical shift times are 1:30pm to close, with a full-time schedule that may require long hours within a vault environment.

Qualifications

• Requirements emphasize physical stamina and safety.
• Ability to lift and carry bags/boxes weighing 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for long shifts.
• Ability to read, sign, and record numbers accurately.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on deposits and change shipments against receipts/manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/boxes of currency.
• Sort cargo items by route and communicate with coworkers and customers.
