Job summary

Loomis Armored Raleigh, NC is hiring an Armed Vault Custodian to maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. You will work with a team to ensure accurate handling of deposits, wrap and record manifests, and support daily vault operations.

The role requires physical endurance to lift and move heavy bags and a valid firearms permit or ability to meet state requirements. The position offers a full-time schedule, with potential overtime and a pay rate of $21.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with co-workers and customers, and to read receipts, manifests and reports.
• Ability to load/unload bags/boxes of currency weighing up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift.
• Valid firearms permit or ability to pass state firearms requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on deposits against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/boxes of currency.
• Sort cargo items by route and communicate with co-workers and customers.
