Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Armed Transportation Officer to securely transport, guard, and escort individuals between sites.

You will operate and inspect vehicles, comply with safety and legal requirements, and coordinate with clients to ensure safe deliveries. The role requires a clean driving record, background check, and the ability to obtain and maintain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet and maintain licensing requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Minimum of two years driving experience.
• One of: LE Officer, Military Police, active-duty military (honorable discharge), or 6 months as a security officer involved with detainees.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation; conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report damage.
• Perform pat-downs and secure individuals during transport; collect accurate paperwork on handoffs.
• Drive safely, follow all laws and client policies during transport.
