Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. is seeking a Transportation Officer – Armed to supervise secure transport of individuals between sites and court venues.

Responsibilities include armed transportation, escorting individuals, and maintaining vehicle safety in accordance with client standards. The role requires a valid US citizenship and a BSIS Armed Security Guard license with a firearm endorsement, plus a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• California BSIS Armed Security Guard License with firearm endorsement.
• U.S. citizenship; background check and drug screen required.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience and 3 years in law enforcement or security fields.
• Strong communication, judgment, and reporting skills.
• Must meet and maintain licensing including driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles; perform pre- and post-trip inspections and paperwork.
• Conduct pat-down searches; secure individuals for transport; ensure proper documentation.
• Operate vehicles safely and comply with all laws, regulations, and client policies.
