Qualifications

• Provide customer service to facility personnel, visitors, and the public while following site procedures.
• Monitor and verify access, report unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with responders when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation facility personnel, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with site policies.
