• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, perimeter areas, and assigned exterior locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws, Allied Universal policy, and site‑specific procedures.

DayTime Wed08:30 AM - 05:45 PM Sat08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, and security‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
