Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL seeks a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver to monitor transit facilities, deter incidents, and respond professionally. This part-time role requires a valid driver’s license and ability to drive on state roads, with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities and transit properties.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit centers, administrative buildings, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and inspect restricted areas for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, or conditions requiring attention, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site representatives when needed.
